🦩 The famous one-legged stance! Flamingos lose body heat through their legs and feet so standing on one leg and tucking the other one helps conserve body heat. Flamingos also use more muscle power standing on two legs than one so they conserve muscle power by standing on one leg. They alternate legs to prevent fatigue.
